Is the Suzuki Celerio right for your trip?
The Celerio is a small 1.0-litre automatic. It works best for one or two people who will mostly drive around Udon Thani city. It turns tightly and is easy to park, even in busy spots like Central Udon, UD Town and the streets around the night market. The boot takes 1 bag, so it suits someone travelling with one suitcase, or with a couple of small backpacks on the back seat.
Out of town, it copes fine with the mostly flat roads to Nong Khai or the Red Lotus Sea, each about an hour away. If you're heading to Chiang Khan (around 3 hours) with a full car and some hills on the way, a bigger sedan will be more relaxing to drive.
Rates start at ฿750/day for 2+ days, then ฿730/day from 7 days, ฿690/day from 14 days and ฿640/day for 31+ days. A single day costs ฿890. The Toyota Yaris Ativ, which takes 2 bags, is only ฿40/day more for 2+ days (฿790), but it costs ฿1,290 for a single day. So if you just need a car for a day of errands in town, the Celerio is much better value.

The boot takes 1 bag. Two people with one large suitcase, plus small bags on the back seat, fit comfortably. If you have two large suitcases, go for the Toyota Yaris Ativ, which takes 2.
Can four adults ride in it?
It has 5 seats, so four adults are fine for short trips around town. But there's only room for 1 bag, so on longer drives it's most comfortable for 1–2 people.
What fuel does the Celerio use?
